Just this week, i 've confirm my air ticket to PERTH! took my oversea leave from 24-31 july, and off with samuel, dan, jeremy, char, mg, will be heading to aust. Air ticket is really cheap, i got it like for $240!! it's like a steal la. But couple of issue at hand include planning the full itinery and we're having difficulty finding a MPV to rent, any suggestion??
I really think i need this trip off, consider it a once in a lifetime kind of thing to 'not to care anything else and have fun' kind of trip. I don't once i start working in future, i won't be in the mood and adventurous to do this kind of thing. Life is short, live it once, live it well with no regrets

It really sucks to pang seh your friends when you have a couple of group that jio you out. And I became superman for 4 hours! Why? after service last night, at 8 i rush over to majestic hotel at bukit pasoh to celebrate ben's birthday. This one is he booked me for like a month alr, i confirm cannot pang seh, summore the rest of my platoon mates are over there, so i went there chill, sang birthday song, gave present and yeah that's it, while the rest went ahead as usual to clubbing, this time zirca. that is till 10. Then i rush to bugis to find my cg, cuz i felt bad for always leaving straight away after svc, so go there catch up abit, collect my guitar from ed and rush over to beat merchant, by 11pm. I now with my secondary buddies, and they really want to jam quite badly, so just went there to help out give a couple of advice for fruitful jamming and that's about it. We played till 0045! cuz they made us wait at the sofa for like 45min!! Haha, strange, sometimes you just feel like splitting yourself up so that you can be at multiple places at one time, but we're given choice. Choice to choose who you really want to be with in the midst all your hectic schedule. Priority is the word to use, how u prioritise your life for friends and family members.
It's loads of fun just now after mingyan wedding when i head over to pierson's place for a short jamming session. I played his brother yamaha dtx express IV, pretty cool with the built-in soundtrack. Played a couple of funk tracks as he began to solo intensely over his PRS CE24. This guy is crazy, the amount he spend on a single overdrive pedal is like 500+ haha, tonight gotta book in by 9pm cuz there's a navex going on tomorrow which is kindda dumb, cuz we're the conducting staff, not the participant la! else i could have catch the last show tonight at mosaic outdoor theatre watch the lovely annebel francis and her husband shek heikel. LOL

I went to Mosaic Last night and it's Funk nights with local and Funkie! No stranger to the local music scene, they cover songs from the jackson family. Lots of groove over there with bassist KC, who seemingly look like pastor Aries. I really love the way he performs, how he move on the stage, and more importantly despite the technicality of the song, still delievers a awesome smooth voices. I want to capture that attitude of performing he has into my band. And the solos delivered by the guitarist is crazy! cuz his distortion is really to the max, yet he totally controls it without additional voice, note for note, it can be heard distinctingly, the BAND, manz..it was very very tight. They got the crowd moving off the seats, showered the audience with tonal quality unmatched by other band in the previous nights.
I'm going there again today to catch the Sexies, heard they play Tokyo Jihen stuff, that's technical too as well. Good awesome music this year at the music, i strongly encourage all music lover to go check it out.
And lastly, I FINALLY CLEAR MY IPPT with a SILVER. Killing my nemesis chin up with a record 9!! hahahaha

What does it truely means to express your emotion and feeling to correctly describe the mood you're in now. I'm feeling emotionally shut down. I don't even know i'm doing it the right way. Perhaps i'm scaring people away. I feel wierd, i make others feel weird, i'm trapped. It takes great courage to share with someone. But it really sucks when no ones really care. Tired..really....I could only thank God for those FEW close friends he has place in my life.

It's really nice to have a 4 day break from camp. It has a been a hectic week before that, all the mock instrusion rehersal for family day, 2 COS duty in a week, it's been crazy.
Went to NE tour yesterday and check out the Singapore high court as well as UrbanRedevelopment Authority. So much i could share about this interesting trip but there's a part of tour i really want to highlight, on terrorism.
If you take a walk down to UOB plaza at raffles, you probably has seens a fat bird statue by famous Italian artist Botero. It is one of the 4 in the world, but did you know another of his work has been bombed before sometime ago. I forget where's the exact location cuz the tour guide was murmuring, but she said that when asked to clear up the debris, the artist intentionally requested the bombed statue to be left there and the exact same site he build a replacement of the exact piece. So now there is 2 art piece side by side which the tour guide said the bombed one to represent stupidity and the other peace. Interesting isn't it, quite amazing to tell the world terrorism is just one plain act a stupidity, where destruction in the end still amount to nothing. Singapore is bless to have been peaceful till date isn't it. That we have time to enjoy art pieces like i mention and not having to worry about breads and butter of life. Of course the NE tour is design to brainwash us, but from the day i step into the NS, defending the nation was never a option, it is as real as it gets. So eitherway, Love our country, cherish it peace and continue to pray for prosperity.
Anyway i'm about to make a really important decision the next few days, as in whether should i sign on for 2 years in the midst of economic downturn. Unlike all my friends who parents can support them up till their degree, i'm gotta work my way out to finance my future studies. It's a good and bad thing, just the matter of how do i embrace this situation. Maybe i'll really treasure my schooling days then. Just pray that i don't make the wrong choice :X
