I'm so excited about tomorrow! cause I'm starting my jeep driving course. Feels like the first day i tried my class 2B, so anyway i spent the entire day at home devoted to the highway code book. i mean man! i forget lots of things man. I was given 350 questions to slowly do and revise, haha those who took basic theory will know it's not easy.

I ran 10km around my house area, i cover quite abit from my house to hillview and to jurong kechil and back by upp bukit timah road exiting cashew. Took around 53min, and suprisingly i'm not panting that badly! running at night is such a relaxing experience, i would recommend u guys to try it.

I'm in sort of a financial crisis now, as in my bank account is area close to hitting zero, tho I'm glad I've chosen to place God first, I'm done with my building fund, talking about a faithful steward. Anyway last sun was horrifying. I arrived at queenstown cc to play badminton with my cell mem and to find out that my chain suddenly got stuck at the sprocket, and my bike simply refuses to move. I've to shout for help and one nice guy came over to drag my bike to the side. I thank God that it didn't break down at the expressway man. So went around begging for tools, and upon closer inspection, the guy (so happen to be a mechanic) said that my gear has dropped, meaning to say putting the chain back would not have fix the problem. My heart sank, i called my brother for some help, and when i told him that I've ran out of cash, he scolded me like mad. Can you imagine if he found out that I gave that money away! Thank you Edmund for the temporary transfer $150 to me in such short notice, else i wouldn't have able to settle the bill. Gosh i'm turning 21 already and seriously i just simply refuse to ask my parents for money, cause i mean they're aging already, and i want to be filial to them, the last from my mind was to ever ask money from them. God i pray hard for a financial breakthrough in my life, I chose to believe that when one sow in tears, he'll reap in joy in due season, amen.

Now i just want a really good rest so that i won't dose off for tomorrow theory lesson SAF driving centre.

guess wat! i'm having my nights out! my friend were like all laughing at me when i said i want to head home straight, and they went to town to chill instead. Kind of lame rite, i mean u book out at 6 plus and have to be back at camp at 2230. Originally i was thinking of riding out, but there are darn too many officers hanging at the company line. I mean if they found out that i ride in secretly, manz hell break lose, confirm either extra or confinement. Just a background info, it's illegal to ride into camp without a valid vehicle pass which u have to go thru S1 branch to apply and you need to have a defensive riding licence, all of which i don't possess. Bleuhh..i'm just lazy la, haha.

SOC was really bad! i has so much difficulty carrying my SBO load running in the new route, my timing was a disgusting 9.58 like just pass. I used to hit like 8.58 back in SISPEC.

Now i'm training hard for SUNDOWN marathon, and i got ms Rhonda Tan running with me, yay! she's training rly hard as well, hopefully i'm able to make it through safely. I did my 10km on monday, time was around 55min. Quite siong, i wasn't panting, but my physical body is telling my leg not to run, now after 2 days, it's aching all over. Gosh, nonetheless i feels good to run distance, when you find that you're at ur brink of ur running, keep running and rely on the holyspirit, i prayed and it sure felt good that day. I mean, i just can't emphasize how important it is that everyone need God, cause if we walk by out own strength, we're bound to fail somehow. Ok time for dinner at home, looking forward to cell group this week!

I thought that this week svc with mrs cho is really good. Given the fact that she's like 70+ and she still sings and preach like in her 30s. Plus she's a professional musician, with a PHD in music, gosh..that's something to wow about. Anyway this week outing was good.

Fri with the fairsians, supper at almeen then go watch midnight shows till 4 am

Sat pre svc was good as well, had a good time teaching shu en, she's really improving fast and a good fellowship with wayne at bedok.

Sun my make up cell, which turns out to be a pm, which was good, then chill out a short while with yulin, derrick and wl, then night jamming with andri and edmund!

I'm really glad that alvin came to svc with ed this week, indeed through prayers and good follow up, people will eventually see light.

wayne said : "while people do not see a need to seek God, our purpose is to show the way to let them know that we all can't live without Him." i totally agree.

now gotta rush to book in!!

Sunday, April 06, 2008

gosh..another week past in maju camp, and it's getting really bored in there. Well the only high key is Ippt, which suprisingly i didn't train at all and i still pass!!, haha. ok said thing is still the chin up, only managed 7! darn! is like all my other requirement all gold already except this, and my 2.4km run broke new best at 9.23. *clap clap* i guess every morning when we've nothing to do, we just do alot of pt to keep fit which i feel its great! moreover i just done a 8km run in 35min!! i'm quite amazed. which brings me to whether i should join a marathon. definitely i've to train. while other think that 'siao, why pay money to torture yourself' i think otherwise. I really felt a deep sense of satisfaction in running lately.

putting that aside, daily in camp for me is all PSP and sleep and eat and sleep. This kind of unproductive life is annoying me seriously.

last night, i went over to Ed house late night with Andri to jam, check out this band Bamboo in youtube, they have this a song hallelujah, very nice rock tunes serious, very alternative. what's more they're phillippino. Now i know that they are all really tallented musician over there, and the vocalist accent is amazing, i almost thought they're some hit band in US.

So to curb with the bordem issue in camp, i went over to John little EXPO sales to buy some food to eat. haha i just went in for 20 min, i spent $47, gosh! but largely goes to the FCUK top and perfume set. You guys should really check out the big box of chocolate by solen, they are freaking addictive. i bought whole box of bueno copy for like only $7+ which is really worth it, and i found out that they make snickers copies as well. Do not be fooled by the price, i believe they're made in turkey!

ok i really miss talking to her, don't know whether if i'm advoiding her or she's advoiding me. gotta start communicating somehow

Sunday, March 23, 2008

This week in camp is kindda static... apart from playing psp, we attended a POI(protection of installation) crash course, which includes, scanning vehicle, personnel search, arrest using handcuff, stuff like that. gotta admit that i'm not really talented in using handcuff, i kept messing up, when it comes to preparation of the position of the cuff to cuff on the hand, not easy k. And you have to pin down your buddie after pushing them down on the floor locking them with your knees. Ouch!

I like jack johnson! his music is like so simple, plain and carries a very positive vibe in them, example UPSIDE DOWN and BETTER TOGETHER, they're really nice. I think i might play them for people's party this coming SUN at VIVOCITY evening time at a cafe downstairs GV. Cause basically there will be live unplugged performance, by eehemm yours truely and few other zai vocalist as well, so stay tune.

Easter is really awesome so far, esp the drama performance, i would say they've reach a new height. Imagine infusing modern day settings with old jeruselem settings, i thought the depicting of the death of Christ has been rather accurate, esp in the emotions, anxiety involved in the play. No wonder thousands of people flock down to expo the past 2 days to catch it, even i myself i've watched it twice. The only regret, i nv bring any friend! basically they pang seh me last min. But i seriously thought they will be tremendously blessed by the drama.

looking forward to the ATP shoot tomrrow, must get my markmanship badge and the $200 dangling carrot. yum yum.

SOT! now everyone seems to be going in, and i'm still not!! why why!!?? So wished i didn't have to serve ns.. now those who ORDed like ming jie, zen min, those who just finish a's like yulin, weilin, those studyin like peng, i'm so envious of them!! It'll really cool if bible school still have 5 months course in future. But anyway...i've just rot my time away with tim,wah keong, cass and vincent at esplanade playing my guitar. really nice to go there once in a while to chill out..take some time to enjoy, the sea breeze, playing some worship songs, pop music and chit chat. Felt wayy much better. self doubt gotten to me earlier, thinking i'm a poor communicator esp in remedying a cracked relationship.

on the other hand, i'm glad that i've been given the opportunity to lead a team of musician for upcoming event 30th march at vivo. I guess the most difficult for me right now is the selection of songs suitable for the vocalist. headache...

oh and i've to book in later like at 9pm! so early right, i think life is sispec maybe better.

sorry tim..should have told ya i'm sleepy, and ya i know it's super dangerous

Thursday, March 06, 2008

Oh well it's been quite a while, haha so much for all the cobwebs accumulated here in cyber space, i've just complete a hectic training in BSLC!! so yea..i'm a corporal now, got posted to 6 SIR recee platoon. I would say it is a blessing in disguise, when i first recieved my posting, i was like shit..recee course is next toughest to guards, perhaps just a tough. exercise long walk 50+km topo on recee fbo, POW training, jungle survivals, and many interesting stuff the senior sgt shared with me. End of the day, what you get is a nice jungle hat! say goodbye to helmet, another plus point i'll for jeep driving lesson soon, so yay class 3 license and it's a 1 month stay out course! plus maju is like super near my place, haha. i'm glad, praise God!

Happy birthday PENG! i know ur like 24 this year already, hurry find a girl man, haha

well about the grave i've made, i've landed myself once again in sliding sands. ok doing what you've done before expecting same result, is madness. i know the theories, just that once it comes to practical, i stumble. Perhaps i was too rush? infatuated? i still have feeling for her tho.. lets just sticks as friends alright, gosh it just so tough. seriously is it wrong to be nice to a girl? although u may already know the outcome that she seriously doesn't like u at all, how dumb are u baoie. From my view, at least i know that i'm genuine, but i like you man, but on the other hand it also become tough to not irritate them, cuz obviously they'll just ignore you. End of the day, i'll hurt myself emotionally. i've seen my best friend Tim getting hurt so bad, i feel for him seriously, and i swear i won't land myself into that state. I still pray alot for him tho, for a open path; dude! wake up alright, i don't want to see u like this so wasted state.. ultimately in God i trust, one nice girl will surely come along the way.

my stand is this, it's never the girls fault.. blame it that guy aren't perfect enough for them

in a blink of an eye, 2 month past. many things happen but i guess i'm just to lazy to elaborate. Anyway i'm into my 11th week in BMT and life in army is good. I have so much fun in there, fiddling with M16, throw grenades, stuff that you will never get a chance to do outside.

Well my bike has been giving me some real headache lately, firstly the electrical circuit ran into some problem, causing light failure. ANd just LAST night, petrol is leaking somewhere. I parked my bike at vivo for dinner, next thing i know when i come back is a pool of reddish liquid. FReaking fed up! and now i riding in fear, thinking of a possiblity that my tank my explode should the petrol leak into the spark chamber.

Another thing that going through my mind is about this girl. Seriously i don't know what the problem with me either, i realise i like to slowly dily daly and wait and wait, until the feelings all dried up. I seirously irks me so much, when i try to put in effort to know someone, and end up i'm slowly beginning the get closed reply. I'm i too irritating? unapproachable? hard to talk to, or i've a 'qian bian' face. I've always been secure of myself, now i think twice. Disappointment do strike it's just how to i manage my expectation. Arhggg...fustrating.

Gosh i just missed my buddie so so much, and she's in Aust. I think really only she can understand me, like i can just chat about just anything, ANYthing! and still be cool, I wish for a person to come into my life, that i can truely not spend much time thinking over so many issue. that i can love, that i can understand, to hug and share a secret. But that's just a WISH, and wishes sometime are extremely hard to come through. I'm just so lost now...

Hey all! I've set up a online forum with my friend www.Livingoutloud.sg. Please do register as a user, and we can continue to build a small community of friends in this forum.

ok so basically i woke up super early today! like 8 which is rare for me. I normally wake up at 12pm.
Gosh i feel might not be able to adapt to waking up early in time!
I'll be going into the army tomorrow 1pm at tekong school 2
Been thinking of ways to increase traffic for my forums
It has been very fruitful meeting different groups of friends before my enlistment

Special thanks to my CG and some of e420 ppl for stayin late to take picture and spent precious time with me. It touch my heart DEEP DEEP.

A big thanks to my musicians for the nice tees, love the guitars imprints

I watched Secrets yesterday with kexin, i tell u...the story line is kindda good i feel for a director who direct movie form the first time. It kept me glued my eyes to the screen, pretty actress, brilliant piano pieces, such a unusual twist of plot, it just kept me wonder how Jay Chou direct such movie like this. It reminded me of a movie i watch few years ago, turn left turn right which the show is divided into 2 portion, and it shows the 3rd person view of the series of events that happen between the 2 main character. I'm still rather amuse by the fact that how does one piano piece has the ability to twist time. Anyway great accompany, kexin just talk alot, hah but that's her and i accept that very fact long time ago. Went to see some trans at changi followed by a sumptous supper at the imfamous changi village nasi lemak and just chill out at orchard swenson with a topless 5. Just a great relaxing time of chill out, i wish everyday would be like so relaxed before i get into ARMY. Yes in around 2 weeks time man, but i can't wait to get in as well, caused everyone is IN there now already, and it feels weird that i'm still out. Some are even going to ORD... It was cell multiplication yesterday and it was great. No crying or whatsoever, just everyones smiling faces, thanks JH for the donuts once again, reall appreciate you queuing and buying the donuts for us. I think for the fact that we now multiply there alot of work to do ahead, even as e406 continues to scale greater height, living a LOL(livin' out loud) kind of lifestyle. And i need a find a replacement guitarist! before i gets in, AN zone is definitely short of experienced guitarist, and i thank God for my talent in the realm of playing guitar. ok for now off to watch HEROes

Friday, August 17, 2007

Had a pretty much fruitful day. It's AN zone youth prayermeeting! i guess it's my first time playing the guitar for so long! really... from 6pm - 10pm, try that! but anyway thank God for guiding me through the whole prayer meeting safely. It's extremely tough due to last minute changes, and unfamiliar worship song, it's almost killed me. Plus my battery died out on me so sudden, then i guess everyone must be wondering what's going on. I guess everyone is fire up and ready for BREAKAWAY, the next big thing by LivinOutLoud productions, and gosh, YES we're living out loud. Gotta say i never seen my zone people so happening, really!!

Yesterday i had a extremely fruitful time with my cool guitar teacher ALVIN. YES i'm learning guitar again! this time i'm moving onto jazz. Gosh it was overloading for me, DIATONIC patterns, Appregiated scales, TSTTTST, Natural minor and major scales, 2-5-1 progression. It's sure tough, but i know i'm moving up to deeper stuff and i'm glad! Cause it just mean God can use me more to bless other. My cg, future congregation, the public in future and many more. Music music music! i'm so in love with it, he he. For aspiring musician, there are no short cuts, it's all freggin hard work, but at the end of the day, it's all worth it!

HEY all!! i'm back from a 3D2N trip to KL and it sure was really awesome. I have my good buddy musician friend EDMUND there with me and i'm glad!

I tink the last time i visited KL was way back in my secondary 2 days, when i was 14 i guess and now 6 years later, i backpacked to check out the place. Was initially looking for thrilling ride and i opt for SUNWAY which i tot their ride got super kick but i was wrong. Ended up my impromtu stop at Cosmo world at berjaya Time Square was even better. The roller coaster there is really POWER! 360 roundabout turn, flips, zero gravity falls all send the faint hearted ones down their grave. The mega mall is like 7 storey high! packed full with retail shop and i regreted not bringing enough money over there to shop my hearts out. I guess i was very budget concious when i'm over there, cuz i ate good food as well, and it ain't THAT cheap. Plus i have to get some mini gifts for my friend and all, I was really budget constrain!! But yea the trip is fruitful and it helps my too soothe my mood a little, after all the hectic tuition related job stuff. Even when i'm over there, i can't escape the call of aunties calling me asking for tutor confirmation and payment matter, gosh!! oh yea....a must go for all shoppers, please visit KL petaling street, it's their chinatown and you can get lots of nice clothing at really good price if you know how to bargain, seirous! i got myself 4 tops!! in this trip, a good mix of different style, retro, ah pek polo, guitars and jap casual. nothing less, hah. I would reccommend all in future to just backpack, don't book any hotel and sleep in inns which is way cheaper so that you could shop for more yea? here are few photo in my trip...

sushi conveyor belt! k good food

edmund damn 'excited' at the conyon ride

eh my specialty store leh

hah me in canyon ride as well!

and I just love diggin his/her nose

Da crazy ride!

it was a blast last night... what happen was there is this series of chain event that took place from 5+ till 5 in the morning!!

First was friday GEEKY cell, errrr i sure look geeky enough, hah. The msg livin out loud was really relevant to me now, i believe it should be the same for all student studyin out there. Esp next sun is the actual performance already! So excited, first time given a opporunity to perform at such hot spot. I tink more to that it's the cause we're performing for. So if you want to help support boy's town artistic programme, pls drop by heeren on the 29th 9pm. Gosh junior is leaving already! after 3 weeks of stay over here attending our cg, i'm really glad i've met him. Surely he is one guy who has huge a huge music library! He's like that kind who listen to my chemical romance way before they even famous, so u can imagine..when he told me about listening to depapepe and whitestripes, well you guys u should listen to their song man! nice one bro, respect for a guy who is 18 and yet me who is a musician barely step out my comfort zone to listen to more originals.

Then after CG and fellowshiping with DURIANS! i rush straight to MINDS at princep to meet my colleague. I was ultra dupa late, but well we have our fare portion of fun! yay..bang. I have the privilege of explaning the rule of the game after the waiter's failed attempt at getting my freinds to understand the game, and yea no doubt this is fun! i first time see everyone so high, shouting and screaming inside a cafe! then we proceed to PUNKbar at ms to support adrain(my sales manager). Well he basically manage this group of THai band Ipzone and they sure are good, extremely tight. Especially the bassist and they are very polite as well! i was thinking it sure must be tough for them to earn a living in singapore and daily they work and play music till 3am! GOSH...and their energy on stage are pulsating onto the crowd. Very tired after everything, i proceed onto supper with tim at ameen as usual with tim, and the uncle cheated us to buy a $3.50 maggie goreng! basically he's say it's special yesterday because of the extra ingredient, and after it arrive on our table, ewwwww. it's like they took the remnant of food from garbage dump, put it back onto the stove, add lots of spices to cover the smell and resell to customer! eeeeeeeeee...make no mistake, Ameen is a very good place for night chill out, they have good prata, but pls! don't buy their maggie goreng... okie tired as i am i finally head home at 5am. hoo haa...gonna see junior off in airport soon :(

Not forgeting the countless of blessing i've got throught this building fund period. So here is a picture of my kite making session in camp. The one flying in the sky is what i did, flew by Fiona, a yr 2 BA student.

aiya i know the pic abit small

Oh ya...i tink i missed posting a entry on my mustafa outing late night with kexin after mosaic.

There are tons of stuff to blog about that, but 1 thing to summarise it all, mustafa can really keep you entertained for hours just by walking in there. i mean i got my bike stuff there, foods, apparels, practically anything you want, it can be found there la, hehe... Then in the wee hours of the night, we went bonkers, going to children department to have some costume party...

ah ha see, crazy de....ok better go restring my guitar now before cell groups starts. Hmm...wondering if Rhonda has recovered from her chicky pox?

Tuesday, March 20, 2007

Hey hey... Guess where i am now, I'm in a dead forgotten land in Punggol! some super ultra big chalet with internet access, how cool is that!? but anyway i'm here for a retreat with my serve china team, and preparing for the upcoming event, going to Suzhou China!! how fun is that sia... and more than that, i'll bring my guitar along there too sing to the kids and i'll be playing old hits like yue liang dai biao wo de xin, tian mi mi, pen you and many many more. Apparently i just realise my ears are becoming much more sensitve and in fact most sing which i can sing, i probably is about to figure out the chords pretty fast. Thanks God for such wonderful talent. Past few night at mosiac festival has really widen my horizon for latin funk numbers as well as soul music. Last tues really want to commend on soul circle, for bring down the house, and man they were really groovy. 2 night ago, there was beat farm, with 2 power vocalist playing some latino/funk/jazz kind of number. Gosh i love music!!!

Wednesday, March 14, 2007

why why why!!!! i can't comprehend why my this sem GPA is 2.43!!! i score a blardy C for SMM which i really studied like mad as well as for my BB. Retail management was heavily pulled down by my peer assessment and i still managed a B, this means i could have gotten an A for that. But of all whY??? Now it shows that my cumulative GPA is like 2.37!!!hiaz........why why why, i think i , might have created a bad impression among my lecturer, my dreams of getting into local U is shattered at this very moment.................

Tuesday, March 13, 2007

So....tomrrow my result will be releasing...and yea this time round, i'm not hoping, but i know it'll be good, cause i know that my God is bigger than all my result or whatsoever. But defnitely, i got this feeling i'll do better than last sem again ;)

Zoomanji was a hit! and i got on pretty well with my fellow team 8 members. Without them, i doubt the whole thing would be fun. At the same time, i got to know few fellow 87 poly grad which i never see them in sch of BA before one. I'm like so aooooooo but nevermind it's fun.

So i'm also about to leave for CHINA soon. On the 25th of march, we heading for su zhou to visit boai orphanages and school for special children. Thought that it would be a eye opener for me, as well as being in sync with pastor message on becoming a philanthrophist(doing good works to people) Finally i'm putting my thoughts into action!
